ROUTINE EXAMS, EARLY DETECTION & LONG-TERM VISION CARE

Comprehensive Eye Exams

Vision changes can occur gradually and are not always easy to notice. Regular eye exams help identify these changes early and support long-term eye health.

A comprehensive exam includes more than a prescription check. Our optometrist starts by assessing how your eyes function. We evaluate your overall eye health. Glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy screening are also available.

Our optometrists use diagnostic technology to examine the structure and function of your eyes, enabling a more accurate assessment.

Managing long-term vision needs and more complex conditions

Medical & Long-Term Eye Care

We provide care for dry eye disease, progressive myopia, and pre- and post-surgical vision needs. Each plan is based on clinical findings and tailored to the condition and stage of care.

Dry eye treatment starts by identifying the cause, such as clogged oil glands or swelling. Then we choose the right care, either in our office or at home. Myopia management aims to slow progression in children and reduce future risk using specialty lenses or contact lenses.

For patients considering LASIK or cataract surgery, we offer co-management care. Our optometrist does your pre-op exams and your post-op checkups. We reach out to local ophthalmologists to coordinate your pre- and post-surgical care and ensure continuity.

Urgent Help for Eye Injuries, Infections & Sudden Vision Changes

Emergency Eye Care

Sudden changes in vision, painful irritation, or eye injuries should never be ignored.

Our team provides same-day emergency eye care during office hours for concerns like eye infections, foreign body removal, allergic reactions, sudden vision loss, or flashes and floaters.

We’ll assess your symptoms quickly, provide immediate treatment when possible, and refer you to the appropriate specialist if needed. For after-hours emergencies, we recommend contacting urgent care or the Ivey Eye Institute.
